“Working Equitation”

Back again, FEIF trainer Alex Venable will spend two days with us focusing on Working Equitation (WE). This is open to Icelandic horse and other breeds. Working Equitation (WE) has it’s roots in European ranch riding and has turned into an elegant demonstration of excellent riding and training in lightness and obedience. Our focus this time will be one day of obstacles used in WE competitions (and those you may likely encounter in trail riding)  and one day learning purposeful dressage (movements used and useful not only to condition and supple your horse but dressage seen in ranch riding, and WE competitions). By the way have you seen Alex rocking WE competitions on Icelandic horses? She’s really scoring well, yet again!
