Testimonial
“I reached out to Kristina for help, and I am so glad I did.”
“After a 15-year break from the horse world, my heart began aching for a return to horse life. I quietly planned and researched, knowing I would need safe, reliable horses to help me begin riding again with confidence. I reached out to Kristina for help, and I am so glad I did.
She has been absolutely fabulous. Her horses are some of the sweetest, most majestic, beautiful, kind-hearted, and intelligent creatures I have ever met. The depth of her training skill—and the bond she shares with her horses—is evident in every interaction. She prioritizes safety, trust, and understanding above all else. Her ability to teach riders how to recognize subtle changes in horse body language completely transforms the way you interact with horses. I am continually amazed at how just a few of her thoughtful pointers can lead to huge, noticeable changes.
The Icelandic horses are truly dreamy. Sigh. They have gentle, funny personalities, beautiful flowing manes and tails, and the most comfortable, gliding walk I have ever experienced on a horse. Riding them feels like skiing perfect powder or floating on clouds.
I especially love the days when I have a later lesson and the horses are still dusted with glitter from earlier kids’ lessons. It’s clear that Kristina teaches children not only how to dote on their horses, but also how to communicate clearly, kindly, and safely. She has created a beautiful, safe space where students gain confidence with every lesson. I can tell she is intentionally setting me up for success through both the lessons she teaches and the horses she carefully selects. Each day I go home with a nugget of new understanding and a feeling like I can repeat my successes
With Kristina’s guidance, I purchased my own horses. She reviewed owner videos for me, and her feedback was incredibly thoughtful and encouraging. She is such a positive and supportive human that I felt compelled to share her comments with the trainer who had previously worked with the horse—Kristina had praised her so genuinely and kindly. The horse we purchased is trustworthy and reliable. He’s a social fellow that always wants to participate in anything we ask. I also rescued a kill-pen pony and she supported me in that decision too.
“She has created a beautiful, safe space where students gain confidence with every lesson.”
“There have been moments when I felt worried—about horse health issues or concerning behaviors—and Kristina has always been there for me.”
Once my horses arrived home, Kristina continued to be helpful and accommodating, even coming to my house to help us settle in. There have been moments when I felt worried—about horse health issues or concerning behaviors—and Kristina has always been there for me. She supports her students in every way imaginable, from gear and feed recommendations to local resources, understanding herd dynamics, and calming sensitive horses who are struggling with big transitions.
I consider myself incredibly lucky to live near a trainer who cares so deeply about both her students and her horses. Kristina has supported me through major changes, always offering simple, practical solutions that truly work. Her lessons are taught in small, manageable steps, yet they consistently lead to what feels like almost magical improvements in horse behavior. I know she calls it science—but to me, it feels a lot like horse magic. If your heart is calling for horses, this is a beautiful place to connect to them.”

Our trainer, Kristina Behringer has successfully passed the Ride Like a Viking trainers theoretical test as well as a practical performance showing liberty training.
